Terms of Service
SkyOS · Last updated 7 October 2026
These are the terms for using SkyOS. They are written to be read, not skimmed past: SkyOS is run by one developer, not a company with a support desk, so the promises below are the ones we can actually keep. Nothing here takes away rights your local consumer law gives you.
Who you are agreeing with
SkyOS, at skyos.ink, app.skyos.ink and api.skyos.ink, is operated by Gennadii Kosaryntsev, an individual developer based in Kazakhstan. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that operator, and “you” means the person using SkyOS. Write to hello@skyos.ink about anything here.
What SkyOS is
SkyOS is a memory for AI tools. It connects to Claude, ChatGPT and Codex over MCP, keeps notes from your chats, and gives those notes back to the tools when they ask. SkyOS is not an AI assistant itself: what each tool says and does is up to that tool.
Using SkyOS with those tools also means following their own terms. Claude is Anthropic’s; ChatGPT and Codex are OpenAI’s. SkyOS is not affiliated with or endorsed by either company.
Who can use it
You must be at least 16. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to a contract like this on your own, you must meet that age instead. One account is for one person: don’t share your account or its sign-in with anyone else.
Your account
Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens through your account, including what the AI tools you connect send to SkyOS. If you think someone else has access, remove SkyOS from your tools and write to us.
Notes can be wrong
SkyOS writes notes with an AI model, and an AI tool decides what to do with them. A note can miss something, get something wrong, or be out of date, and a tool can misread it. Check anything that matters before relying on it. Every note is on your Memory page, where you can correct or delete it.
Your content stays yours
You own what you and your AI tools send to SkyOS, and the notes written from it. You give us permission to store and process it only to run SkyOS for you, including sending it to the providers listed in the Privacy Policy. We don’t use it for anything else.
What you must not do
- Break the law, or use SkyOS to help someone else break it.
- Store someone else’s personal data that you have no right to hold.
- Try to reach another account’s data, or break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or work around its limits.
- Resell SkyOS, run it as the backend of your own product, or share one account among many people.
- Use the Contact form to send spam.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and say why.
A free beta
SkyOS is in beta and free. During the beta, each account can save up to 1,000 messages a month; past that, SkyOS stops writing new notes until the next month, and everything already saved can still be read. Features will be added, changed and sometimes removed. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you before anything is charged, and you will never be charged without agreeing to it.
Availability
We aim to keep SkyOS running, but we do not promise any particular uptime. It depends on providers we don’t control — hosting, the database, sign-in, the AI provider that writes notes, and the AI tools themselves — and any of them can fail. SkyOS is provided “as is”.
Ending it
You can stop at any time: remove SkyOS from your AI tools, and delete your account and everything in it from the Dashboard, as the Privacy Policy describes. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or if the law requires it. If we shut SkyOS down, we will give at least 30 days’ notice where we can, so you have time to copy your notes.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or lost data, or for anything that follows from relying on a note or on what an AI tool did with it. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to whichever is greater: the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and any right your local consumer law gives you that a contract cannot take away.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where the operator is based, and disputes go to the courts there. If you are a consumer, this does not remove your right to the protections of the law where you live, or to bring a claim in your local courts where that right exists. Before going to court, please write to hello@skyos.ink: most things are faster to fix directly.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will email you before the change takes effect. The date at the top always shows the current version. If you keep using SkyOS after a change takes effect, you accept it; if you don’t want to, you can stop.
